Bright is a seasoned technical and manufacturing professional with more than two decades of experience across heavy-duty manufacturing, mining, and bulk-materials handling. His background includes conveyor belt design, chemical formulation, process engineering, monitoring technologies, and performance optimisation. His strong foundation in applied chemistry, QA, and lean manufacturing ensures deep insight into how materials, process conditions, and operational environments affect belt longevity and performance.

He supports mining customers by applying practical, data-driven insight to complex conveyor challenges, integrating manufacturing knowledge with on-site operating conditions. His expertise includes failure-mode analysis, duty assessments, and specification optimisation across the EMEA region. Bright also serves as a Director of the Conveyor Manufacturers Association (CMA) overseeing belting and IRR testing, and is the Chairman of IOM3 Northern Branch in South Africa.
